Safe Crossing

My wyvern-sona "Kelenken" having nommed 's character "Rae'Thalis" in gryphon form.

This piece started off with an uncoloured lineart I found in my "WIP"folder, which I rearranged to allow Rae in the spotlight; he turned out so gosh darn cute! :3 So yeah apparently it's snowing and I'm ferrying him over a frozen body of water?... I don't actually know how this concept came about, I just went with it.
You will be delighted to hear no gryphons were harmed; I don't digest friends. X3


Tried a number of new things, or tried to emulate them anyway. I can't remember what they were. And those cracks in the ice were unexpectedly fun to do.

PS: If anyone can come up with a better name that I can steal, I would be most grateful.
